Back in the summer, Dave Chappelle trended heavily, after being tackled on stage during a standup show at the Hollywood Bowl, at the Netflix Is A Joke Festival, by 24-year old Isaiah Lee. Lee ended up being quickly tackled by security, as well as Busta Rhymes. At the time, Lee also had a replica firearm, which contained a knife inside of it. Chappelle didn’t sustain any injuries due to the attack, but he and everyone else definitely seemed surprise at what happens. Chappelle even went on to make a Will Smith joke, about the situation.

Lee went on to state that he attacked Chappelle, after previous LGBTQ jokes that he made. However, Lee is now heading to jail for his actions. According to TMZ, he will serve 270 days in jail. This comes after Lee plead no contest to misdemeanor counts, which include entering a restricted area during a live event and battery. Thai was confirmed by the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.

However, Lee’s legal woes don’t end now. He is also facing a felony charge, due to allegedly stabbing a roommate. Lee was able to avoid any felonies in the Dave Chappelle case.
