J. Cole goes platinum with “The Off-Season” album

Over the past year, J. Cole has been on a huge feature run. This includes the past month and a half, where he’s been featured on two Drake records. Those were the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping “First Person Shooter,” from Drake’s “For All The Dogs” album, as well as “Evil Ways,” from the “Scary Hours 3″ edition of For All The Dogs, which was released last week.

Meanwhile, J. Cole’s streams with his previous projects continues to win big. This includes his 2021 “The Off-Season” album, which debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart, and became his six straight number one album. Moreover, every one of Cole’s studio albums have reached that mark.

Therefore, The Off-Season has now reached another major milestone. This is that it has now been certified platinum by the RIAA, in the US. This comes after selling over 1 million units.

In 2024, J. Cole is also expected to release his long-awaited “The Falloff” album. This would be his first project since April 2022, when he and his Dreamville record label released their “D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz” mixtape with DJ Drama.
