Ja Morant gifts DaBaby’s mother signed jersey in Charlotte
Last night, the Memphis Grizzlies scored an easy 131-107 win over the Hornets, in Charlotte. Ja Morant totaled 23 points and 8 assists. Meanwhile, Memphis is also at second in the Western Conference, at 24-13. Many believe that they could make an NBA Finals run, if healthy.
In Charlotte, DaBaby was also in attendance, as he frequently is, to support his hometown team. He was seen speaking with Morant’s father Tee, and also went on to meet DaBaby’s mother.
There, Morant gifted DaBaby’s mother a signed jersey of his, that he wore in the game, that night. She was very happy to meet Morant in person, and also appeared to be very grateful for the signed jersey.
Morant also trended this week, after it was revealed that a 17-year-old boy sued him, after attacking him during a pickup basketball game at Morant’s home, last summer. That supposedly came after a ball was thrown at Morant. Several of Morant’s team allegedly helped jump the boy after. However, that lawsuit didn’t move forward with prosecutors.
