After trending on Twitter, all morning, Ja Morant has gotten the attention he was apparently seeking. The video has gone viral and the NBA is now involved. This afternoon, as suspension was handed down.
Ja Morant has the potential to truly become the face of the league. Not only did he put the Memphis Grizzlies back on the map, natives of the city feel he could have led them to the 2022 title, had he not gotten injured. But there is a level of discipline that the Golden State Warriors who beat his Grizzlies display. It’s safe to say, Steph Curry would never be caught up in a situation like this.
