One thing was sure, just from the tone of the series, Will Smith enjoyed having fun. “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” was full of serious moments, but the show was fun.

But, Jaden Smith has since become the star of the family with his acting and music career.
Set to star alongside his father in After Earth at the end of the month, Jaden Smith will soon be fifteen years old. To be so young, he has accomplished quite a bit. During a recent interview with London’s The Sun, Will Smith revealed Jaden Smith only has one birthday wish and that is to be emancipated from his parents.
“He says, ‘Dad, I want to be emancipated.’ I know if we do this, he can be an emancipated minor, because he really wants to have his own place, like ooh.” Will continued, “That’s the backlash. On the other side, if kids just want to have command of their lives, I understand.”
