Jamal Bryant is catching a lot of heat for his Mother’s Day sermon. While Jamal Bryant did not mention Kevin Samuels by name, it is clear who he was talking about. Clearly, Kevin Samuels had a bigger impact on the culture than most are willing to admit.
Jamal Bryant is a well known pastor in Atlanta. After Bryant’s wife, Gizelle, joined “The Real Housewives of Potomac,” his personal life was exposed. Pastor Bryant is a controversial figure, in his own right. But Jamal Bryant used his Mother’s Day sermon to address Kevin Samuels.
Jamal Bryant put Kevin Samuels on blast, after death. Pastor Bryant questioned how a man could tell a woman she has no value after age 35, when he needs a GoFundMe for his own funeral. Bryant would go onto question Kevin Samuels referring to himself as a “high value” man. Because Jamal Bryant is a pastor, people are upset with what he did and what he said. Above all, as a pastor, Bryant should not be passing judgement. Furthermore, the church’s pulpit is not the place to be insulting anyone.
