Jamie Foxx still hospitalized in Atlanta after “medical complication”
Jamie Foxx endured a “medical complication” three weeks ago, which resulted in him being treated at an Atlanta hospital. However, his health was said to have been improving, and began speaking to loved ones around him. This comes after Foxx’s medical emergency was rumored to have been a stroke. At the time, Foxx had been in Atlanta to shoot the new “Back In Action” film, for Netflix. He is also joined by Cameron Diaz.
However, according to TMZ, Foxx remains hospitalized in Atlanta. The actor’s family is asking those to pray for him. Foxx is currently with his family at this hospital, as they’re hoping for the best, in regards to his health.
Due to Foxx’s hospitalization, he will also not appear on the new season of “Beat Shazam.” Filming kicked off on Wednesday, as a new host was filled in. Foxx’s daughter Corinne is a DJ on the show and will not be there either, as she is with her father at the hospital.
“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” said Foxx’s family after his initial hospitalization. “Luckily due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciates your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”
