Jamie Foxx reportedly hospitalized after “medical complication,” but is now communicating with family

Jamie Foxx is regarded as one of the most talented R&B artists and actors over the past three decades. He initially made a name for himself by starring in “The Jamie Foxx Show,” which began in 1996. Foxx would also go on to release five studio albums.

However, Foxx is now reportedly dealing with some health concerns. He has suffered a “medical complication” on Tuesday. His daughter Corrine revealed this news on social media, and added that he went on to receive great care at a local hospital. “From the Foxx Family:

We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciates your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

Thankfully, sources close to TMZ state that Foxx went on to say that he’s since been communicating with family members, since being hospitalized. In the meantime, it’s still unclear when Jamie will be discharged from the hospital, but it’s certainly great news that he’s able to speak with his family. He’s said to currently be in Atlanta, as he’s been filming the movie “Back In Action,” with Glenn Close and Cameron Diaz.
