This week, Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics and Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams both cut ties with Kanye West’s Donda Sports agency. Therefore, this was in the aftermath of Kanye receiving backlash, for doubling down on anti-Semitic comments.

Jaylen Brown initially wanted to stay at Donda Sports, but changed his mind, 24 hours later. Donda Academy’s basketball team also got dropped this week, from the upcoming Scholastic Play-By-Play Classics tournament. This event was supposed to take place in Louisville, KY, on December 11.

However, Jaylen Brown is looking to help the athletes on Donda Academy’s basketball team still get expose. On Twitter, he has now said that he’d sponsor any event, that’s willing to let those athletes participate in games.

“To any HS basketball coaches & event coordinators, These student athletes can’t be negatively impacted by this. I will sponsor any event existing or new, willing to host Donda Academy We all must ensure they complete their senior yr both academically & athletically. Contact me.”

Donda Academy as a whole was rumored to be closing for the entire school year, starting on Thursday. Four hours later, though, they reopened, and said that worship services would start the morning.
