Jayson Tatum gets backlash for shoving the referee, but not getting suspended, unlike Dejounte Murray [VIDEO]

Jayson Tatum gets backlash for shoving ref without consequences

Jayson Tatum has been the franchise player from the moment he joined the Boston Celtics. During their 2018 playoff run, Tatum had to step up. However, the Celtics did go through growing pains, when Tatum and Jaylen Brown took the keys. Most of the kinks were worked out, during the second half of last season. The Celtics went on an incredible run that ended in Game 6 of the 2022 Finals, against the Golden State Warriors. This year, Tatum played like an MVP, as Boston holds the NBA’s second best record. Last night, the Celtics went up 3-1 over the Hawks, as Dejounte Murray was suspended for bumping a referee. Tatum did the same thing, though.

Jayson Tatum was one of the NBA’s best players in his rookie year. Each year, he continues to improve. However, most said Jaylen Brown would’ve won Finals MVP, if the Celtics beat the Warriors. Through the first half of this season, Tatum played like an MVP. However, the Bucks wound up taking the first seed from them. In the playoffs, though, the Celtics are dominating.

Jayson Tatum is dealing with a lot of upset Hawks fans. When Dejounte Murray bumped the referee, he got into a lot of trouble. Not only was he ejected from the game, but he is also suspended for Game 5. More than likely, this will be a Boston win. The fans are upset, though, as Jayson Tatum also bumped a referee, during the game. Instead of any punishment, his situation went overlooked.
