Jeannie Mai reportedly didn’t cheat on Jeezy with Mario Lopez
Last week, Jeezy went viral after it was revealed that he filed for divorce from his wife, Jeannie Mai. The two had been married for over two years, and welcomed their first child together, last January. Furthermore, Jeezy went on to file this divorce paper work in Atlanta. Moreover, rumors have circulated that Mai cheated on Jeezy with TV host, Mario Lopez. That came as a result of Mai and Lopez recently hosting episodes of “Access Hollywood” together.
However, Mai has reportedly been holding out hope that she and Jeezy could reconcile. Furthermore, she’s reportedly “devastated” about the divorce, and didn’t get married to get divorced In addition to this hope of reconciliation, sources also claim that Mai did not cheat on Jeezy with Mario Lopez, according to TMZ. “Family values and expectations” were also reported factors in the divorce happening.
“”She wants to work things out,” said a source close to Page Six. “She did not get married to get divorced. This was not a part of the plan. This is not how she ever imagined things would go down. Even though Jeezy has filed, Jeannie is holding out hope that he would be willing to sit down and work things [out]. She is hoping for a resolution and wants to remain as a united family unit.”
Sources close to TMZ added that there’s “no truth” to the Mario Lopez cheating rumors. The two simply had great chemistry while on-air.
