Jeremy Lin Breaks Down As He Claims He’s Hit Rock Bottom In Free Agency. “The NBA Has given Up on Me.”

Life as a professional athlete can be tough. There is no guarantee that things will pan out in your favor. For most, they’re always fighting for their position and job security as well. Many do not take into account the emotional rollercoaster professional are often on. Most figure because athletes often time make more money than most working Americans, that should have nothing to complain or become upset about.

NBA free agency is nearing it’s conclusion and there are several key notable players still out there without a team. One in particular is recently crowned NBA champion Jeremy Lin. This free agency season has been hard one for him. Speaking to a crowd, Lin breaks downs as he reveals his frustration and feelings of hopelessness not being picked up yet. He’s a 10 year veteran who’s bounced from team to team, and while he’s been a great off the bench player, he’s never reached the superstar expectations put upon him since his time with the Knicks. So realizing the possibility that he may have to retire sooner than he’d like is becoming something he’s struggling with.

“Rock bottom seems to be getting more and more rock bottom for me. So Free agency has been tough because I feel like, in some ways, the NBA has given up on me.”

Lin has been in the league for 10 years and is more of less known a journeyman player. He rose to fame when he had a breakout game with the New York Knicks. Now 10 years later, Jeremy Lin has won an NBA Championship as a member of the Toronto Raptors.
