JID previews unreleased song with Anycia at Dreamville Festival
Over the last five years, JID has been one of the most talented artists on J. Cole’s Dreamville record label. Moreover, he also saw plenty of success with his latest “The Forever Story” album in late 2022. This project contained 16 tracks, including collaborations with 21 Savage, Lil Durk, Lil Wayne, Ari Lennox, and more. As a result, it went on to see an impressive number 12 debut in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart.
Meanwhile, JID also had a very solid performance at J. Cole’s annual Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, NC, this weekend. In addition to his set, he also performed an unreleased record that he has, which features fellow buzzing Atlanta rapper, Anycia. However, an exact release date has yet to be revealed. Anycia did take to Twitter/X to reveal that this collaboration was recorded a while ago, though.
Anycia has had a strong start to 2024, as she put out her “Back Outside” single with Latto, in January. Moreover, in February, she also released her “Up Lit Freestyle.” This comes after an impressive 2023, in which she began to make a name for herself with records such as “BRB,” “So What,” and her “Extra” EP. Last month, Anycia even performed at her first Rolling Loud festival, in Los Angeles.
