In an exclusive interview on the Joe Budden Podcast, singer Jon B shares a shocking truth. Speaking on his classic 90’s music, he shares that he does not receive any royalties from his music. Jon B further explains that Babyface is the reason he isn’t being compensated.

Jon B is a name that automatically takes you back to 90’s r&b. The singer, songwriter and producer created mega hits that are still sampled in today’s music. His debut album Bonafide featured Babyface, earning him a Grammy nomination. His second album Cool Relax, was a commercial success. That album featured the singles “They Don’t Know” and “Are You Still Down” featuring Tupac Shakur.

Despite the success of his music, he still isn’t receiving what he feels he is owed. During the interview, Jon B expressed how Babyface signed him to his personal label. He also mentions that due to his contract, he was unable to receive payment for his songs. Babyface recently made a comment about the situation via social media, claiming the statement is untrue.
