Last month, breakout actor Jonathan Majors was arrested in New York City, after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. The two were said to have initially got into an argument while in a taxi, after the woman had an issue with seeing that a woman was texting Majors.

As a result, Majors is said to have attempted to strangle the woman. The two ended up both going their separate ways, after the incident. However, the next day, Majors was arrested and taken to jail. He was charged with misdemeanor assault, strangulation and harassment. This situation has also caused Majors to be dropped by his PR and management representation.

Mewnwhile, the alleged victim has also now been granted a restraining order against Majors, according to Variety. This prevents Majors from being able to contact her.

“Today a judge granted a Full Temporary Order of Protection for the victim, per the People’s request and with the consent of defense counsel,” said Manhattan District Attorney’s Office press secretary Doug Jones in a statement.

Majors attorney, Priya Chaudry, has also since spoken out about this restraining order. She claims that this was agreed to, due to Majors not wanting to be associated with the victim, at all.

Majors achieved major fame by recently appearing in some of the biggest films out. This includes “Creed III” and “Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania.”
