Judge threatens to arrest DJ Envy over Cesar Pena situation
DJ Envy landed in hot water, earlier this year, over his real estate business with Cesar Pena. Often, Envy promoted this business venture on “The Breakfast Club.” As a result, many people invested into the ventures Envy talked about. When people accused Envy of causing them to lose money, he said he never stole anything from anyone in his life. According to reports, a judge is now threatening to arrest Envy, due to Cesar Pena’s real estate venture.
DJ Envy, himself, originally rose to fame on New York’s mixtape scene. He was a member of DJ Clue’s movement, Desert Storm. As a result, Envy followed Clue over to Hot 97. After that, DJ Clue left the station to join Power 105.1. A few years later, DJ Envy also made the move. The opportunity came to create “The Breakfast Club” and DJ Envy rose to stardom. For the past thirteen years, they’ve had a very successful show.
DJ Envy recently got into a tight situation, due to the Cesar Pena legal issues. Many people have said they were scammed, due to Pena’s real estate ventures. Since DJ Envy has called himself a business partner and promoted the venture on “The Breakfast Club,” people are also blaming him. However, this is something where Envy has maintained his innocence. But a judge is reportedly threatening to arrest Envy if he doesn’t comply with a subpoena about Pena’s real estate business.
