Kandi Burruss is the longest tenured member of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” However, she has had her fair share of challenges. Over the years, Kandi has faced everything a person would expect being on a reality TV show. But she is also one of the few to use such a vehicle in the right way. She has expanded her empire and build a solid brand. People expect Kandi to have fun. She shared a Christmas-themed video with Todd, where she was twerking on him.
Kandi Burruss originally rose to fame as an R&B singer. She was one of four members of Xscape, but she left the group in 2000. However, she remained active in the music industry, becoming a successful songwriter. Alongside Xscape’s Tiny, Kandi wrote “No Scrubs” for TLC. In addition, the two wrote the hit single, “Bills, Bills, Bills,” for Destiny’s Child. These things made Kandi the perfect addition for RHOA, in 2009, for the second season.
Kandi Burruss actually met Todd Tucker, during filming for “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” At the time, he was a part of the production crew. Despite being written off as an opportunist, Todd managed to go the distance with Kandi. The two got married, overcame incredible odds, and now have a decade under their belt. Over the years, they have proven to enjoy a good time. Recently, they did a holiday-themed video, over some classic Atlanta tracks, and Kandi was twerking on Todd.
