Kanye West fires his divorce attorney
On Wednesday, Kim Kardashian will be having a hearing, to see if a judge will finally officially declare her legally single. This is all while she continues to go through the process of divorcing Kanye West. Kim initially filed tor divorce, in February of 2021.
Ahead of this hearing, Kanye has also now fired his third divorce attorney, according to TMZ. Ye has now hired Samantha Spector. Spector also recently got done representing Nicole Young in her divorce, against Dr. Dre. Nicole ended up winning a $100 million settlement, in late December.
The lawyer that Kanye recently fired, was Chris Melcher. The two reportedly didn’t have a good business relationship, and their communication wasn’t the best. The upcoming hearing for Kim will take place on Wednesday, with the expectation that she’s on her way to finally receiving this legal single status.
TMZ also added that it’s unclear if Spector will try to prolong the hearing, to get more time to help Kanye. Over a week ago, Kanye has expressed via his attorney, that he didn’t want Kim’s legal status approved, until property and custody and property issues are resolved.
Last month, Kanye also posted text messages from Kim, on Instagram. These messages told Kanye how if Kim’s new boyfriend, Pete Davidson, gets hurt, it would be all Kanye’s fault. This is due to Kanye consistently dissing Pete, on Instagram, that month. Kanye still remains evidently jealous, even though he’s been dating other women, since the divorce was filed.
