Over the past two weeks, Kanye West has been using his Instagram account, to rant, again. This includes calling out Kris Jenner, as well as adidas. He believes that despite being with adidas, they’ve been copying his Yeezy designs, on other shoes. Kanye also expressed his disapproval with Gap, who he signed a 10-year deal with, back in the summer of 2020.

Now, Kanye is expressing his interest in wanting out of Gap. He revealed this, in a new interview with Bloomberg. He simply wants to go independent at this point, in his fashion endeavors.

“It’s time for me to go it alone,” Ye said. “It’s fine. I made the companies money. The companies made me money. We created ideas that will change apparel forever.”

As of now, it’s unclear if adidas and Gap will eventually cut ties with Kanye. Gap stores containing Yeezy products recently went viral as well, due to them being sold out of trash bags, in stores. This was reportedly due to the request of Kanye, and he reportedly  told employees, to not sell the products out of any hangers. Kanye also claimed that Gap held meetings without him.
