Kanye West’s “Heartless” single goes diamond

In 2023, Kanye West is regarded as one of the biggest artists of all-time. His creativity as an artist and producer has always been praised, even despite his various controversies. For many, they love the Kanye of old more, in and outside of music.

Meanwhile, one of Kanye’s biggest records ever has just reached another massive milestone. This is his 2008 “Heartless” single,  which has just reached diamond eligibility by the RIAA in the US, according to Chart Data. This comes after selling over 10 million units.

Heartless was one of the most popular records of 2008, as that appeared on Kanye’s “808s & Heartbreak” album. Furthermore, Ye experimented on various autotune sounds, which was met with heavy approval. As a result, the album went on to debut at number one in the US on the Billboard 200 chart, and is currently 3x platinum. Heartless peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, and is platinum.

This year, Kanye also remarried quickly, as he privately tied the knot with Yeezy architect designer, Bianca Censori. This comes as a result of him officially divorcing from Kim Kardashian, last fall. He and Kardashian had been married since 2014, but Kardashian filed for divorce in early 2021.
