Kim Kardashian and Kanye West officially settle divorce; Kim to receive $200,000 monthly child support

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West officially finalize divorce

Back in February of 2021, Kim Kardashian officially filed for divorce from Kanye West. That came after being married since 2014, and having four children. The two initially began dating in 2012.

This past March, a judge also ruled that Kim and Kanye were both legally single. However, the divorce is now officially finalized, according to TMZ.

In the settlement, Kim and Kanye both reached resolutions regarding custody of children and properties. Involving the children, joint custody was granted with “equal access,” to all four. In addition to this custody, Kim is also getting a whopping $200,000 per month, in child support.

With child support being handled by Kanye, he will also be responsible for 50% of the kids’ educational expenses. 50% of the children’s security expenses is also being taken care of.

This divorce settlement also finalized terms of disputes surrounding the children. Mediation would be the end result. If one of them doesn’t agree to this, the other gets to make the decision in a dispute, by default.

Properties being distributed is based on division of assets, according to the prenup. Spousal support has also since been waived by both Kim and Kanye.

However, Kanye has been going downhill lately. Anti-Semitic comments made online has caused him to lose partnerships with adidas, Balenciaga, CAA, and more. Kanye also recently claimed that adidas froze his accounts. Ye also lost his billionaire status, as a result of these lost collaborations.
