Kanye West’s “Off The Grid” single, with Playboi Carti and Fivio Foreign, goes platinum

Kanye West’s “Off The Grid” single goes platinum

Kanye West has been very consistent with his music, over the past year. Last August, he put out his chary-topping “Donda” album, which became his 10th straight number one album. This past February, Kanye released the Donda sequel, but it was only released on Stem Player. The only song that Kanye did make available on streaming outlets, from Donda 2, was “True Love,” featuring XXXTentacion, last week.

Kanye also still has a lot of momentum, from his Donda album. One of the biggest records from that project was “Off The Grid.” This also featured Playboi Carti and Fivio Foreign. Now, it has earned another plaque, as it is platinum in the US, according to Chart Data. This comes after selling over 1 million units. Off The Grid definitely brings a lot of energy, as it is frequently played in arenas and stadiums, all over the US.

Off The Grid originally peaked at number 11, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The audio itself on YouTube, also has 15 million views.

Kanye has collaborated with Fivio frequently since Off The Grid, as they also released “City Of Gods,” with Alicia Keys. Carti also appeared on Kanye’s “Mr. Miyagi” song with Future, from Donda 2.
