Kendrick Lamar & Baby Keem perform at Camp Flog Gnaw
On Saturday night Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem debuted as “The Hillbillies,” at Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival festival, in Los Angeles. This was held inside Dodger Stadium, as Tyler initially announced the festival, earlier this year. The anticipation was very much real, as passes for the festival went on to be sold out, within an hour.
Moreover, Kendrick and Tyler also performed their “The Hillbillies” single, which was released in May. As a result it went on to debut at number 93 in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Furthermore, Keem is Kendrick’s cousin, as he was signed to Kendrick’s new PgLang record label, in 2021. Keem’s debut single “Family Ties” with Kendrick helped propel him to stardom, that fall, and even won a Grammy for it, for Best Rap Performance.
Meanwhile, Camp Flog Gnaw was also filled with plenty of other star-studded performances. Others who hit the stage included SZA, Ice Spice, Kali Uchis, Lil Yachty, and more.
