Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” breaks global Spotify record
Over the past week, fans have been debating on who has won the ongoing beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Last weekend, Kendrick dropped off four diss songs, while Drake put out two. However, an overwhelming majority believe that Kendrick has easily taken home the win.
Meanwhile, Kendrick’s latest track, “Not Like Us,” continued to put up massive streaming numbers. It has set another impressive record, as it has now broken the all-time record for biggest streaming day for a hip-hop song in global Spotify history. This was done with 12.809 million streams, per Chart Data. Furthermore, Not Like Us reached this by passing Drake’s “Girls Want Girls,” featuring Lil Baby.
Moreover, it’s expected to debut at number one in the US, this week, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Not Like Us has since had the biggest US streaming debut for a solo hip-hop single, in this decade.
Each Kendrick Lamar Drake diss record has earned massive praise over the last several weeks. The other notable ones have included “Euphoria,” “6:16 In LA” as well as “Meet The Grahams.” Kendrick has accused Drake and his crew of pedophilia, and even claimed that Drake is hiding an 11-year-old daughter, just like he was with his 1-year-son, in 2018. However, Drake went on to deny these accusations on social media, as well as on “The Heart Part 6.” That has since been the latest diss record between the two.
