In December, Kanye West and Drake had one of the biggest events of 2021. This was their “Free Larry Hoover” benefit concert, as it was held at the LA Coliseum, in Los Angeles.
Kanye performed most of his classic hit records, while many wonder why Drake didn’t do the same as well, for his own catalogue. Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant also recently weighed in on this concert, while appearing on “The ETCs With Kevin Durant” podcast, with Eddie Johnson.
KD feels that this concert should’ve been more of a Verzuz-style of event, as he also acknowledged that Drake could’ve performed more classics. Overall though, the future hall of famer loved what he saw from Kanye and Drake.
“Kanye killed it, both of them killed it,” Durant said. “But to see Kanye go back and do some of his old stuff was definitely dope.”
This Kanye and Drake came about a month after the two finally ended their 3-year-old feud, in November. They were pictured in front of Drake’s home, alongside Houston music mogul, J. Prince.
