Kid Cudi’s “Pursuit Of Happiness” single goes diamond

Kid Cudi has always had his own flow of music. He’s always been one to stand out on records, ever since 2008. At that time, he broke out with hits such as “Day N Nite” and “Pursuit Of Happiness,” featuring MGMT and Ratatat.

Pursuit Of Happiness continues to be a major record 13 years later, as it has now rewatched another major milestone. According to Chart Data, it is now officially certified diamond, in the US. This comes after selling over 10 million units. This also becomes Cudi’s first diamond record. On YouTube, Pursuit Of Happiness also has over 268 million views.

Pursuit Of Happiness initially peaked at number 59, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also appeared on Cudi’s 2009 debut studio album, “Man On Moon: End Of Day.” That project went on to debut at number four, on the Billboard 200 chart. 18 songs were on the album, as Cudi also collaborated with Kanye West, Wale, Common, and more. This album also officially went 4x platinum, on Tuesday.

This past fall, Cudi also went on to release his eighth studio album, “Entergalactic.” That saw a number 13 debut in the US, as Cudi also had collaborations with Steve Aoki, 2 Chainz, Ty Dolla $ign, and more.
