One of the leaders of this “New West” hip hop scene is Kid Ink. He is among the countless number of rappers from Los Angeles. Kid Ink started off 2013 with a bang, announcing his new record deal with RCA Records. Since then, Kid Ink has begun working on his mainstream debut album.
An artist’s success depends on their support system. Having someone who is well-known in the media is beneficial for artists. Kid Ink had the luck of having Bootleg Kev in his corner. For those who do not know, Bootleg Kev is one of the biggest radio personalities on the West Coast and a rising name on the East Coast.
