Kodak Black helps 28 Florida families avoid eviction and pays rent

Kodak Black has been giving back to South Florida communities for a long time now, including when he was incarcerated. Now, he is lending another helping hand, to families who are facing eviction situations.

According to Kodak’s attorney Bradford Cohen to TMZ, Kodak partnered with Francky Pierre-Paul and the Zachariah McQueen Foundation to financially assist these families, to get these eviction notices thrown out. This is at West Palm Beach’s Merry Place Housing Projects.

Kodak is also reportedly paying these families’ rent, for the remainder of 2022. This also covers all previous late fees that they were struggling with. Kodak also released a statement to TMZ, explaining how happy he is to help those in need.

“I’m happy about making other people happy. It makes my heart happy to know those 28 families are being taken care of through the end of the year. I don’t always post the good I do, I just try to do right by people.”

Last month, Kodak also gave back to his native country of Haiti. He did so by donating 35,000 bottles of water, which cost $50,000. This was due to a huge shortage of food and water in Haiti, as a result of ongoing violence.
