Kodak Black posts $250,000 bond after brief booking in jail 

On Monday, Kodak Black spent a brief time in jail, due to breaking his 2022 pretrial supervision rules. He failed to check in with authorities, which landed him in jail, according to TMZ.

However, Kodak also spent less than an hour in jail, and posed for a quick mugshot. That was as a result of posting a massive $250,000 bond. This case is in regards to Kodak being arrested in Florida last year due to drug possession. At the time, Kodak claimed that these were legal prescription drugs. He had 31 oxycodone pills inside of his car.

Attorney Bradford Cohen revealed that the Florida rapper had to check in with authorities and take mandatory urine tests. However, Kodak failed to recently do that. Furthermore, Monday’s court hearing was Coben successfully argue to get rid of this required supervision. As a result, a judge agreed. However, the bond increased by $75,000.

This situation also comes Kodak released his new “Pistolz & Pearlz” album, in May. 21 new songs were delivered, including collaborations with Syko Bob and more. That momentum came in after seeing massive success with his “Super Gremlin” single, in 2022.
