Kyrie Irving donates $65,000 to family of Shanquella Robinson

25-year-old Shanquella Robinson of Charlotte, NC has been trending over the past week and a half, due to her death while out on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Robinson passed away on October 29, as she was found dead in her hotel room.

Robinson was initially suspected to have passed away from alcohol poisoning. However, footage soon showed her friends attacking her, in the hotel room, as six were present. Her death certificate went on to state that she suffered a “severe spinal cord injury and atlas luxation.

No arrests have been made yet, in connection to Robinson’s death. Many on social media want those who were previously seen attacking her, in custody. This comes after those supposed friends left her body in that Cabo hotel room, without notifying anyone.

Robinson’s family has since started a GoFundMe account, on November 17, in order to cover funeral expenses and legal fees. Soon, received a massive donation from Kyrie Irving. Fans noticed that he donated $50,000, and soon, an additional $15,000.

Irving has been making headlines over the past month, for posting a documentary that contained anti-Semitism. He has since been working with various Jewish organizations, and is returning to the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday, vs the Memphis Grizzlies.
