LaMelo Ball celebrates with Miles Bridges after Hornets beat Lakers
LaMelo Ball is one of the most unique stars in the NBA. With that being said, he has had a tough season. First, the Hornets struck out in their coaching search. Second, Miles Bridges’ domestic violence situation put a stain on the entire team, ruining their free agency. Third, LaMelo has struggled with injuries. As a result, the Hornets are one of the NBA’s worst teams. Last night, they didn’t play like it, as they defeated the Lakers in Los Angeles, with LeBron James on the floor.
LaMelo Ball injured his ankle, during the preseason, which forced him to miss the start of the season. When he finally was able to play, Ball reinjured the ankle in his second game of the season. After a strong start, the Hornets fell apart. As a result, they have been one of the NBA’s worst teams. In addition, Gordon Hayward has dealt with injuries. Prior to the season, Hayward vowed to remain healthy this season. However, when the starting five plays, Charlotte is a good team.
LaMelo Ball, like the rest of the NBA, has watched the Miles Bridges situation play out. The two have become close friends, in addition to being a dynamic duo.
