There has been a new development in the murder case of the legendary 2Pac. This is right in the city where he was shot and killed in 1996, in Las Vegas.

According to ABC News, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department searched a home in Henderson, which is right outside of Las Vegas. A warrant for this home was served on July 17.

“LVMPD can confirm a search warrant was served in Henderson, Nevada on July 17, 2023, as part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur homicide investigation,” said Las Vegas police in a statement. “We will have no further comment at this time.”

2Pac’s murder has been unsolved for decades now, after being shot after attending a Mike Tyson fight at the MGM Grand. Furthermore, the west coast rapper got into a massive brawl with Southside Compton Crip, Orlando Anderson. 2Pac reportedly attacked Anderson after finding out that Anderson robbed a Death Row Records affiliate of his Death Row chain.

This spring, a new 2Pac docuseries was also launched on Hulu. This was “Dear Mama,” which discussed his close relationship with his mother, Afeni Shakur. As a result, it’s also since been nominated for an Emmy.
