Latto’s “Big Energy” single goes platinum
A few weeks ago, Latto released her highly anticipated sophomore album, “777.” This project was led by hits such as “Big Energy,” “Wheelie,” featuring 21 Savage, and “Soufside.” 13 tracks were available in total, with additional appearances from Lil Wayne, Childish Gambino, Nardo Wick, and Kodak Black.
Big Energy still remains as the most popular record from 777. It was released last fall, and currently stands at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This single’s momentum. has remained strong since late September, as it is now bigger than it was at the time of its initial release. This record also helped Latto branch out into a pop sound, as well. Now, it has reached another huge milestone.
According to Chart Data, Big Energy is now platinum in the US. This is after selling 1 million units. Three days after the 777 album was released, Latto also finally put out the remix for Big Energy, as it included huge features from DJ Khaled and Mariah Carey.
Latto is also currently venturing on her 777 Tour. This tour will run through April 23, as it will conclude in her hometown of Atlanta. Latto’s next show will take place on April 8, in Indianapolis, IN.
