Lauryn Hill teases possible sophomore album

To this day, Lauryn Hill is regarded as one of the best rappers of all-time. This is the case, even despite only releasing one solo album, which was the classic “The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill,” back in 1998. That debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart, and is currently certified diamond in the US.

However, Lauryn Hill is now teasing the possibility of a sophomore album finally coming, 24 years later. This comes after she performed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” on Monday night, with her son, YG Marley. After the show, Hill and Marley went on to be asked by TMZ about if a sophomore album would become a reality.

Therefore, Lauryn Hill’s son replied “Music is on the way. For real this time.” As for Hill, she nodded and said “Soon.” Hopefully, this is in fact the case. Fans haven’t received any new music from Hill in general, since way back in 2002. However, she recently ventured on various shows with Fugees, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill album.

Check out Lauryn Hill and her son YG Marley speaking on the idea of Hill possibly dropping a sophomore album, below.
