LeBron James changes Instagram avatar to Takeoff
In the early hours of November 1, Migos rapper Takeoff was shot and killed, at a Houston bowling alley. He appeared to get caught in the crossfire, as this occurred after Quavo was in an argument with a group of men. Takeoff went on to be hit in the torso and head, as he died on the scene.
Tributes have since been pouring in all over social media, including from many celebrities. Among them are Beyoncé, Drake, Takeoff’s Quality Control Music label, Offset, and more. Now, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is doing the same.
LeBron has now changed his Instagram avatar, to a photo of Takeoff. He has a massive following on social media, as he accounts for over 136 million followers, on that profile.
Police in Houston have since been looking into the possible shooter, in this incident. One man has been labeled as a person of interest, who had a firearm on him, and appeared to end up using it.
Meanwhile, LeBron’s Lakers have appeared to gone back on track. Last night, they defeated the New Orleans Pelicans at home, in overtime. That was caused by Matt Ryan’s game-tying three-point shot, at the buzz, at the end of regulation.
