In modern hip hop history, Lil’ Kim was the biggest female rapper. She made a lot of headway in the game and she dropped a lot of classic material. Many of the doors opened for the ladies in the industry were by Lil’ Kim and even she will say a lot of that wouldn’t even be possible without Diddy.
Over the span of her career, Lil’ Kim has always kept communication open with Diddy and he continued supporting her. All of this changed for a while and there was a bit of distance. Even with the distance, the two have always been friends and that’s what kept them going.
Lil’ Kim was in her hometown of New York City and she reunited with Diddy. They came together again, but the game has changed. Diddy has always kept the newest talent around him and they all have respect for Lil’ Kim, so Meek Mill and 2 Chainz were also on stage with them.
