Lil Nas X had a bit of a quiet year, when it came to music releases. Nonetheless, he continues to be one of the biggest superstars in the music industry. His 2021 “Industry Baby” single, featuring Jack Harlow, continued to completely dominate, in 2022.

According to Chart Data, Industry Baby was the most streamed song in the US, of 2022. It amassed nearly 900 million streams. This was initially released in August 2021, and saw a number one three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, in the US. A month later, it reached the number one spot.

A month later, Industry Baby went on to appear on Nas X’s highly anticipated debut studio album, “Montero.” That project debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, and is currently platinum in the US. Currently, Industry Baby is 6x platinum in the US.

In 2022, Nas released two singles. This includes “Late To Da Party” featuring NBA Youngboy and “Star Walkin’ (League Of Legends Worlds Anthem).” He’s also recently been trending on social media, due to his new hairstyle. This is due to it resembling Memphis Grizzlies star, Ja Morant.
