Lil Nas X has most streamed song in the each of last two decades
Lil Nas X has been very consistent in releasing various hit records, since storming onto the scene in 2019. That all started with his “Old Town Road” single, which soon earned a feature from country legend Billy Ray Cyrus. That soon became a number one hit in the US, and is currently the highest certified song in RIAA history, at 17x platinum.
“Industry Baby” featuring Jack Harlow became Nas X’s third number one hit in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, in 2021. That is 6x platinum, and has now reached a new milestone, as well as Old Town Road.
According to Chart Data, Nas X now has the number one most streamed song released in each of the last two decades in the US. These are Old Town Road for the 2010s, and Industry Baby for the 2020s. Industry Baby was also the most streamed song of 2022. It went on to appear on Nas X’s 2021 debut studio album, “Montero.”
Last year, Nas X released two new singles. Those were “Late To Da Party” featuring NBA Youngboy and “Star Walkin’ (League Of Legends World Anthem.”
