Lil Tjay announces new “222” album
Lil Tjay’s first project in over two years is on the way, as the Bronx rapper announced some big news on Thursday. Tjay revealed that his “222” album will be released on July 14.
Furthermore, Tjay also unveiled the cover art for 222, as he’s seen shirtless with his jewelry on, and the ”222” numbers seen all over in the background area.
222 will contain 15 songs in total, including plenty of star-studded features. Those include Summer Walker, NBA Youngboy, Fivio Foreign, Coco Jones, Jadakiss and more. “Project Walls” featuring Youngboy will be available on July 7, as it serves as the first lead single for 222. Presave options for the album are also available on all streaming platform.
Tjay has definitely had a very life-changing last year. Last summer, he was shot in a robbery attempt in New Jersey, as he went on to recover in a hospital for several weeks. However, Tjay recovered fairly quickly, and has since been back to performing. Furthermore, he will also be performing at the upcoming Rolling Loud festival in Miami, on July 23.
