Lil Tjay now speaking and moving after shooting
Over a week ago, Bronx rapper Lil Tjay ended up being shot, while with his friends. This incident reportedly occurred while Tjay was going to a Chipotle, in Edgewater, NJ.
The shooter went on to be identified as Mohamed Konate, as two other men were also arrested. Konate went on to be charged with three counts of first-degree attempted murder. That incident went down after Konate attempted to rob Tjay and his friends.
Tjay has since been recovering at a local hospital, where there’s been plenty of rumored, surrounding his health. Many claimed that Tjay would be paralyzed for life, as he was still unconscious.
According to TMZ, Tjay is now reportedly finally now awake, and speaking. His breathing tube was also removed, and his voice sounds completely normal. Police also reportedly want to speak with Tjay soon, about the shooting. Tjay’s attorney, Dawn Florio, declined to comment about his condition at the moment, to TMZ.
Prior to the shooting, Tjay had been preparing to release a new EP. So far in 2022, Tjay has released singles such as “Goin Up” and “In My Head.”
