Lil Tjay’s shooting suspect arrested in New Jersey

It’s been over a month since Lil Tjay was shot in Edgewater, NJ. This was during an attempted robbery, as Tjay was shot multiple times, and one of his friends was shot once. Konate ended up being hit with three counts of first-degree attempted murder.

Tjay had since been unconscious, after undergoing surgery. Fortunately though, he soon began to have movement in his body, after initial rumors that he may have been paralyzed. Tjay has also been speaking, as he is still hospitalized.

Now, Konate has officially been arrested, in New Jersey, according to The Daily Voice. He has since been transported to Rikers Island, which is one of New York’s most notorious prisons.

New developments are also surfacing about the shooting. Tjay and his friends were reportedly sitting in a Dodge Durango near the Bronx’s Promenade shopping centre. Tjay allegedly fought back during the robbery, and that resulted in him being shot in thee thoracic cavity. Konate ended up being injured in the process of this attempted robbery, as well.

Konate was reportedly helped to a BMW, after the incident. He soon got dropped off at Lennox Hill Hospital on Park Avenue. Konate’s two associates have reportedly been cooperating with authorities though, as they’ve been charged with second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
