Lil Uzi Vert will record next album instead of “Pink Tape” deluxe
On Friday, Lil Uzi Vert delivered his highly anticipated “Pink Tape” album. This project was in the works for several years, as Uzi finally announced it’s official June 30 release date, earlier this week. This is Uzi’s first studio album since 2020’s “Eternal Atake,” which went on to be the number one album in the US.
As a result, Uzi delivered 28 new songs on Pink Tape. Furthermore, he also collaborated with Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, and more. Due to the massive streaming success of Pink Tape, it’s also expected to be the first hip-hop album to reach the number one spot of the Billboard 200 chart, this year.
The biggest record on Pink Tape so far appears to be “Endless Fashion,” featuring Nicki Minaj. Nicki has been promoting this collaboration on social media since its release, as many want visuals for it.
Fans are also wondering if Uzi will drop a deluxe edition for Pink Tape. However, in a new Call Of Duty live stream, he told a fellow streamer that that’s not the plan, when asked if he would be working on that. But, Uzi did that a new album will be recorded in place of that.
