Lil Wayne announces “Welcome To Tha Carter” Tour

Last summer, Lil Wayne revealed that the sixth installment of his “Tha Carter” album series would be coming soon. That was claimed after performing at Drake’s OVO Fest, in Toronto. But, that Carter project still hasn’t arrived.

However, Wayne may be hinting at Tha Carter VI finally coming. On Tuesday, he announced that he will be venturing on his “Welcome To Tha Carter” Tour. This will kick off on April 4, in Minneapolis, MN. 28 shows will be available, as the tour will conclude on May 13, in Los Angeles.

Tickets for the Welcome To Tha Carter Tour will officially go on sale on February 3, at LilWayneOfficial.com. The tour is also in partnership with Rolling Loud, which has become one of the biggest hip-hop festivals in the world, over the past seven years.

Wayne’s last album came way back in January 2020, which was “Funeral.” That project went on to be his second straight number one album. Wayne collaborated with Big Sean, Lil Baby, Adam Levine, Doja Cat, Benny The Butcher, and more.
