Lil Wayne teases “Tha Fix Before Tha VI” project

Lil Wayne fans have been waiting for his “Tha Carter 6” album to be released, over the last four years. However, we may be getting a new project soon, in preparation for the sixth installment of this classic album series.

Wayne has just posted presave links to streaming platforms for a project that’s titled “Tha Fix Before Tha VI.” However, it’s still unclear when this will be released. Wayne’s last project was released way back in 2020, when he put out his “Funeral” album, which saw a number one debut in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart.

Moreover, Wayne’s previous Tha Carter album was released in the fall of 2018. As a result, that became another number one album for Wayne, on the Billboard 200 chart. Wayne previously said last fall, at Drake’s OVO Fest in Toronto, that Tha Carter 6 was coming soon.

Wayne has also trended lately, due to making guest appearances on Skip Bayless’ “Undisputed” show, on FS1. Wayne and Bayless have been close for many years now, as Bayless was been gifted a chain from Wayne. Wayne’s Friday appearances on Undisputed come amid Shannon Sharpe leaving the show, and Bayless also added Richard Sherman, Michael Irvin and Keyshawn Johnson as cohosts. Last weekend, Wayne also performed while walking out Deion Sanders and Colorado’s football team, prior to their exciting 2OT win vs Colorado State.
