Lola Brooke, GloRilla & more headline 2023 XXL Freshman Class

The annual XXL Freshman class issue has officially been revealed, which is now trending heavily on social media. The 2023 class is very familiar to fans, as plenty of female rappers who have been breaking out over the past year were also included.

The full list of artists for the 2023 Freshman Class features TiaCorine, 2Rare, Finesse2Tymes, DC The Don, Rob49, Luh Tyler, Fridayy, GloRilla, Lola Brooke, SleazyWorld Go, Real Boston Richey, and Central Cee. The headline for this cover also read “All eyes on us.” Furthermore, fans are also now waiting for the official 2023 XXL Freshman Class freestyle, which is conducted every summer.

This XXL Freshman class has dropped a lot of hot singles and projects over the past year, as evident by their consistent viral success. These include GloRilla signing to Yo Gotti’s CMG record label and was nominated for a Grammy, TiaCorine broke out with her “FreakyT” remix and included Latto on it, and Lola Brooke signed to Arista Records after breaking out last fall, with her 2021 “Don’t Play With It” single featuring Billy B. The remix also featured Latto and Yung Miami, this past spring. A week ago, Rob49’s “4God II” album also dropped.
