Lola Brooke and D’USSÉ host rooftop day party in NYC 

This weekend, various events were held all over New York City, to celebrate the official 50-year anniversary of hip-hop. Plenty of New York natives also hosted and performed at these events, including Brooklyn native Lola Brooke.

On Sunday evening, Lola Brooke partnered with D’USSEÉ Cognac, to host a day party at Harbor NYC Rooftop. This venue is located at 622 W. 46th St, in Manhattan, as Hip-HopVibe was on site.

Furthermore, fans were treated to various D’USSÉ cocktails, including their signature lemonade edition. Lola also went on to perform multiple hit singles of hers, such as “Don’t Play With It” and “So Disrespectful.”

Lola’s had a major breakout year, as her 2021 Don’t Play With It single went viral in late 2022, and resulted in her signing with Artista Records, at the top of 2023. The remix for Don’t Play With It went on to be released in the spring, and featured Latto and Yung Miami. “So Disrespectful” soon followed, as well as “Just Relax.” In addition to these singles, Lola appeared on Ciara’s “Da Girls” remix with Lady London.
