Mac McClung has been an unsung hero of this season. While he is playing for the Philadelphia 76ers, he played for the Warriors in Summer League. This past summer, Mac McClung went undrafted. However, he was one of the best rookies to play during Summer League. After the season started, he left his mark on the Philadelphia 76ers.

Mac McClung has a playing style that is a throwback to a foregone era of NBA basketball. Most point guards simply shoot the ball from deep. Few of them display the kind of old school handles Mac McClung is known for. Even fewer of them actually dunk the ball, at all, let alone compete in the Slam Dunk Contest. All of this makes Mac a different kind of player.

Mac McClung competed in tonight’s Slam Dunk Contest, at the All-Star Game. Not only did McClung show out with his hesi dunk, he left the whole crowd stunned. By the way, a “hesi dunk,” is when the dunker hesitates in mid-air, before dunking the ball. When McClung did this, he left the whole crowd shocked. None of them were more shocked than Giannis, who was astonished.
