Mac McClung has a major chip on his shoulder. While Mac McClung is a great player, he went undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft. This comes in spite of Mac McClung consistently going viral with his high school basketball highlights. Determined, Mac McClung signed with the Los Angeles Lakers for the season, but was waived early in the season. After that, Mac McClung signed a 10-day contract with the Chicago Bulls.
Mac McClung split his rookie season between the Lakers and their G-League team, vs. the Bulls and their G League team. At the end of the season, Mac McClung signed with the Lakers, where he finished the season. With the Lakers missing the post season, altogether, Mac McClung’s season ended after the regular season. The Lakers declined Mac McClung’s qualifying offer, at the end of the season.
Mac McClung has signed with the Golden State Warriors, for their Summer League team. Fresh off an NBA championship, Mac McClung hopes the Warriors see the value of adding him to their rotation. Last night, the Warriors had a tough game against the San Antonio Spurs. One thing was not tough for the Warriors and it was Mac McClung. At one point, Mac McClung destroyed the Spurs defense, as he crossed them all for an easy layup.
