Man advocates for men to have safe space to share their feelings
The past decade has seen a new feminist movement take place and it’s led to some powerful people facing justice. As a result, most men are reviewing their past behavior towards women. Meanwhile, women are being more open than ever about the things they go through. More recent years have seen men begin to open up. This is especially true in 2023, as men have began venting. However, one man said that men aren’t being given the same grace women are to let it out.
Since the dawn of time, men and women have always had disagreements. Most television sitcoms were built off the premise of male-female relationships. As a result, real life debates about gender roles have been going on for many years. However, life can’t function without men and women. So, both sides are pushing for more respect. Furthermore, men and women, alike, are also pushing for more understanding.
Recently, a man spoke at a panel and he was discussing safe spaces. Throughout the course of history, women’s feelings have always been heard. Whether or not they’ve been respected remains an entirely different story. However, this man said men aren’t allowed to speak on their feelings at all. He said that if a man tries to discuss their feelings, all of the women around him won’t validate what he’s saying. Then, as he was making that point, a woman said he might be misunderstanding things.
