Mariah Carey is without a doubt known as one of the greatest R&B/pop artists of all-time. The last project we got from Carey was back in 2018 when she released her 15th studio album, ‘Caution.’ This album did very well as it reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart and was led by the singles “With You” and “No No.”
Carey is releasing her new memoir, ‘The Meaning of Mariah Carey,’ on September 29 and has now announced a new album that is on the way as well. She took to her social media feeds shortly after midnight on Wednesday to reveal that her 16th album will be out on October 2. It is titled ‘The Rarities.’
Carey said that this project is for the fans and it’s a celebration as well. She expressed how grateful she is for the continued love and support, too. As of now, The Rarities is available for pre-order ahead of its October 2 release date.
